As I look at the results that have been achieved across the community to support children and youth over the last year it is nothing but astounding! Petaluma has achieved national recognition as an example of changing the odds for youth in challenging economic times.

So, in keeping with our shared commitment to ensure that all children and youth are Ready by 21 – ready for college, work and life – we are hosting the first of two community summits for this year.

Here is the “Save the Date” flyer for you to share with those in your sphere of influence.

This summit is where we will “nail down” shared community wide goals for the next five years. It is also a time for newcomers to jump on board and find their spot as we take off.

I will be in communication with many of you over the next few weeks as we prepare for the fall summit. But in the meantime, please put it in your calendar and pass the flyer on so we pack the room with community leaders for change.
